Ending the tradition

After Grandpa passed away I took over his job at the car dealership here in Eureka. I think a few of you had helped him out in the past. It was mainly updating a database and sending out mailings. After 5 1/2 years, I have gotten too busy to keep up with it. Today I took them my last bill. I think they are planning on doing the job in-house now, but it was fun to continue the job for Grandpa these last few years.

How's it going?

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here. I hope everyone is doing fine. Sue is busy with Create A Scene and is working on opening up a show room in the near furture. The walls are painted and we have the tile and hardwood flooring down. Still need to do some trim work and move in. I will let you know when it's complete. I am still busy with photography and I thought I would put up another video from a senior session a few weeks back.

New School Year

Reagan started her first day of Kindergarten yesterday. Zi will start preschool after Labor Day.

Today is her first full day. Zi has been asking where she is all day. He misses her a lot!

From the Woodford County Journal today. 30 YEARS AGO - Cathy Crumrine and Mike Hohulin were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Way to go Mike!!

Dear Family,
Just to let you know that we lost Karen yesterday to complictions from pneumonia. It all started last week on Wed. when she started to cough. By Sat. she ended up in athe hospital. On Sun. they put her in intensive care and it was all down hill from then on. They removed the life supports yes. and she died a short time later. I haven't heard for sure but they hope to have her funeral on Sat. I'm planning on getting some kind of memorial for the family in memory of her from our family. With my love, Mom

Kayla got a job!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let all of you know that Kayla accepted a job at St. Francis Hospital! She will be working PRN in the radiology department. She also has been accepted at the University of Iowa to finish her degree. She will be doing all of her classes on line. We are excited for her as she really wanted to finish her degree as well as start getting a pay check!

Andy & Amy are engaged!

Just wanted to let everyone know what Andy got for his birthday - a fiance! Wow, talk about a gift that keeps on giving.

Invitations

Dear Family, I have two invitations for you. The first is for Easter dinner at 5o'clock in the multipurpose room at the nursing home hosted by me. I need to know how many will come so we can plan. Let me know by the seventeenth. The other one is to a birthday party for my brother Bob to celebrate his 75th birthday. It will be held at the American Legion in Cissna Park with an open house from 3 to 5 on May 1st. Every one is welcome. Let your family know if they don't read the blog. Love, Mom or Grandma

I wanted to wait until David had been in the family a year before exposing him to ERS.
But he watched it while he was in Florida over Christmas.
And life for Tara has never been the same - "drop your curly locks and put on your socks".

And to make matters worse, Duane watched it while he was in Florida - but I guess he has been in the family long enough.

So to all the women in the family I apologize.
But you are 'prettier than the sun glistening off my riffle barrel'!

Dear Family,

This is what you call going from Fl. to Il. We had a great time in the sun but you had sun too because you got rid of the snow at least for a day. It seems to be back today and in the forcast. Mike and Faye aare great hosts ans make you feel so welcome. I enjoyed the whole trip with good flights and great weather, good food and great company. Thanks again Mike and Faye.GG

Florida

Hi Everyone! Duane and I and Mom are enjoying our time with Mike and Faye. It is a beautiful sunny day. Duane just got back from fishing and I think he is going to try the pool. We enjoyed our cruise. It was nice to sit on our balcony and watch the full moon over the ocean. Sat. eveing we sat on the patio around the fire pit and also enjoyed the moon. We will be getting home tomorrow night about midnight. Love you all. Eileen

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. I'm putting everyone's birthday in my new planner and I'm missing David's and Kobe's. If someone would get these to me I would appreciated it. Now don't expect a birthday card but at least I think about you when I see it on my calendar!! We are getting ready for Kayla's graduation party. She is excited to be done but is thinking of going on to get her degree.

Keith, we are glad your reports have been encouraging. We pray you don't have any side effects from your injections.
